  • The other problems that a woman can face during the menstrual cycles include headache and mood swings. Mood swings are caused because of the immense hormonal changes occurring in the woman’s body.

Yes, we are talking about the importance of regular exercise which is extremely effective in minimizing the severe effects of menstrual period such as headaches, or cramps etc. Exercise helps in smooth circulation of blood and keeps your muscles stretched.
  • Drinking lukewarm water during the menstrual cycles also helps you to lessen the effects of cramps and headache. Lukewarm water is effective in alleviating stomach pain. If lukewarm water doesn’t do the trick, you can opt for some over-the-counter pain relievers. But it is strongly recommended to make use of these medications after consulting your doctor because some drugs may aggravate the problems.
